Our Mission

The Humane Society of Madison County is to provide shelter, medical care, comfort, and socialization for stray and surrendered dogs and cats, as well as to provide education and communication to the public.

Our Vision

The Humane Society of Madison County envisions a community where companion animals are well cared for, respected, and free from abuse and neglect. The numbers of unwanted companion animals are reduced through spay and neuter programs. We envision a day when our organization's services, with regards to stray or other unwanted pets, are no longer needed.
